About HKJCICM

Hong Kong Jockey Club Institute of Chinese Medicine (HKJCICM) is set up by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in May 2001 as the local focal point for action and coordination to steer Chinese medicine (CM) development. Prof. Sarah S.C. Hui
PhD in Pharmacology (UK)

Prof. Hui graduated from Bradford University (UK) with 1st Class Honours in Pharmacology and got her PhD in Neuropharmacology.  She is a distinguished researcher in Pharmacology and a dedicated educator.  She began her career in Chinese medicine since 1991 and was considered a pioneer in initiating and developing Chinese medicine education in tertiary institutes in Hong Kong.  She was the Deputy Director of the School of Chinese Medicine and Associate Director of School of Professional and Continuing Education, University of Hong Kong.  Professor founded the Hong Kong Academy of Chinese Medicine and was the President prior to joining HKJCICM ...
