項目背景

Estrogen Replacement Therapy (ERT) is a common therapy for postmenopausal women suffering menopausal syndrome.  It however is proven to increase incident of breast and ovary cancer, coronary diseases, stroke and pulmonary embolism.  This project aims to develop a Fu fang Chinese medicine based on an ancient prescription for relieving menopausal syndrome.

• Formulation based on an ancient prescription with over 350 years history.
• In vivo and In vitro models showed similar estrogen-like effects in anti-anxiety, anti-depression, anti-oxidation, memory and sleeping enhancement.
• Adopt advanced extraction methodologies and technologies and establish quality control framework to meet the standards of Food & Drug Administration (FDA) in US & European Medicines Agency (EMEA) in Europe
• Granule dosage form – easy administration by patients
