As part of the HKJCICM and funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the CM Laboratory has the mission to:

spearhead value-added development and application of quality-related standards and associated methodologies for enhancing quality assessment and quality control of CMs; and
advance science and facilitate applications through CM natural product applied research

Staffed by a dedicated team of CM scientists with research competency in pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, natural product discovery, analytical development and quality control, the CM Laboratory is supported by an expanding network of advisors and technology partners.
