Mainland Recommends First Batch of CM Medical Instrumentation
On August 11, 2009, China’s State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SATCM) recommended to provincial Chinese medicine (CM) authorities the first batch of CM medical instrumentation for procurement reference. The batch included 35 products including novel CM decoction machine, CM extraction and packaging equipment, moxa moxibustion and meridian/acupuncture point instruments. SATCM has organised expert assessment on the applications from the industry for product promotion and procurement reference.
The recommendations are meant to promote the use of CM medical instrumentation in facilitating diagnosis and treatment by CM doctors. It aims to enhance CM clinical techniques and improve treatment efficacy.
